Mechanical / Chemical Knowledge required for success:

 

  • Knowledge of High Temperature processes: Heat transfer, Fluid flow, Combustion
  • Preparation of technical drawings (electrical, mechanical instrumentation)
  • Understanding of TSSA Fuels Safety, CSA, NFPA codes and ESA requirements
  • Programming Drawings and documentation including Alarm and Trip Table, 10 rack configuration, 10 Table, Program sequence of Operation, Standard Logic, Functional Spec
  • Good knowledge of practical and theoretical concepts of combustion.

 

Position Description:  Reporting directly to the president, you will work on a project team and be responsible for the Mechanical and overall components from design, build and commissioning to successful handover to the client.

 

Duties include:

 

  • Analysis of Industrial Process systems to optimize energy usage, productivity, safety and quality including reports and analysis for improvement and preparation of business case costs estimates and ROI calculations
  • Prepare technical drawings (electrical, mechanical instrumentation etc.)
  • Programming Drawings and documentation including Alarm and Trip Table, 10 rack configuration, 10 Table, Program sequence of Operation, Standard Logic, Functional Spec
  • Direct fieldwork to ensure quality control.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with both clients and team members
  • Keep current with related emerging technologies and potential customer applications.
